Brookhaven Planning Commission

The commission also reviewed a request for a restaurant drive-through, a beer and wine retail permit, and a proposal to add a wireless communication facility to a commercial corridor. Perhaps most significant long-term, county planners floated a new placemaking strategy for the Embry Hills and Presidential Parkway corridor, a plan that would guide zoning, design, and transportation priorities across that entire area for years to come.

- 4630-4648 Manifest Dr — Ten new water meter and sewer tap permits closed out for the Silverton townhouse development. This wraps up utility work for the project, meaning the units are moving closer to move-in ready.

- Peachtree Industrial Blvd Signal Optimization (DeKalb County) — Crews are upgrading traffic signals along Peachtree Industrial Blvd between Peachtree Rd and New Peachtree Rd.
- SR 13 Resurfacing, Fulton County Line to Chamblee Tucker Rd (DeKalb County) — GDOT is repaving this stretch of SR 13 to fix its poor pavement condition rating.
- Ashford Dunwoody Road Eastbound Ramp at I-285 (DeKalb County) — Crews are adding a third lane to the eastbound ramp connecting Ashford Dunwoody Rd to I-285 northbound to ease congestion at the interchange.
- PATH400 Trail Extension, Windsor Pkwy to North of Baroque Cir, Phase II (Fulton County) — This is the middle segment of the PATH400 trail extension, building out the multi-use path further into Sandy Springs.
