- 155 W Paces Ferry Rd NW — New fire sprinkler system going in, 78 heads total. That's a full building system, so expect contractor trucks around this one for a while.
- 3280 Peachtree Rd NE — Terminus 100 is renovating its 2nd floor restrooms and corridor, over 2,100 square feet of work. Interior only, so you shouldn't see much street impact.
- 3424 Peachtree Rd — A resubmitted permit for interior construction on the 6th floor. This one expired once already, so the building's clearly still working through the renovation.
- Buckhead Loop NE — Cosmetic interior remodel for a retail space, including fixture replacement and repainting. Nothing structural, just a refresh.
- 2045 Peachtree Rd NE — Fire sprinkler relocation and additions to bring the system up to code.
- 3050 Peachtree Rd NW — HVAC work with duct alterations and new air distribution units. Standard building system upgrade.
- 600 Peachtree Battle Ave NW — Electrical panel swap in the parking lot. Quick, minor work.
- 3340 Peachtree Rd NE and 3565 Piedmont Rd NE — Both buildings are updating their fire alarm systems, adding speakers, strobes, and modifications to stay current with code.
- 2425 Peachtree Rd NE — Access control upgrades on the parking garage doors. Security improvement, not a full renovation.

On the residential side, 123 permits came through, mostly routine. HVAC replacements lead the pack at 36, followed by 28 arborist permits for dead or hazardous tree removal. That's a decent number of trees coming down this week, so keep an eye out if you're near one of those properties. Electrical and plumbing work round out the rest, all minor and expected.

Road Work

Under Construction
- I-75 Lighting Upgrade (Musket Ridge Drive to I-85) — Crews are swapping out old HPS lighting for energy-efficient LED fixtures along this stretch, with pole and conduit replacement possible too. Expect night work in the area as they upgrade the corridor.
- SR 400 Tunnel Bridge Rehab at Justin C Martin Building — This project tackles structural repairs on the tunnel, including spall repair on transfer beams and roof slabs, fire system fixes, and other upgrades. If you cut through this corridor regularly, watch for lane shifts or closures tied to the work.
- SR 9 Resurfacing (SR 3 to north of Paces Ferry Rd) — GDOT is repaving this stretch of SR 9 after it scored low on road condition ratings. You'll likely hit construction zones and possible lane restrictions here as crews improve the surface.

Atlanta Watershed
- 24-Hour Lane Closure on Northside Drive NW for Storm Drainage Repairs and Paving — Crews closed a lane on Northside Drive NW near 3111 Northside Drive NW from 9-4 starting Jul 31 for storm drainage repairs and paving. Expect slower traffic through the corridor while work continues.
- Emergency Road Closure at Rockingham Dr. NW and Mornington Dr. NW Due to Sewer Mainline Work — Crews are working on the intersection for emergency sewer mainline repairs starting today and running for a few weeks. If you're in the area, plan for detours around this intersection until the work wraps up.

Service Requests

Potholes: 18 reports flood in across the neighborhood this week. You'll find clusters on Lakemoore Dr NE (3), Darlington Rd NE (3), Roxboro Rd & Canter Rd (2), Valley Rd NW (2), and N Ivy Rd NE (2), with six other streets rounding out the list. Crews are actively working through every one of them.

Emergency Traffic Signal Repair: Peachtree Rd & Maple Dr drew the most attention with 3 reports. Moores Mill Rd & Northside Dr and Northside Pkwy also needed fixes. Most got resolved fast.

Non-Emergency Traffic Signal Repair: Roswell Rd NE, Buckhead Loop, Paces Ferry Rd & W Paces Ferry Rd NW, and 25th St & Peachtree St all had signal issues reported this week.

Downed Trees: Roswell Rd NE and Mountain Dr NE each had two reports come in. Crews cleared most of them already.

Right of Way Visibility/Overgrowth: Pharr Rd NE and Moores Mill Rd NW both need attention where overgrowth is blocking sightlines.

Right of Way Litter Removal: Crews are clearing litter on Deering Rd NW and at Stratford Rd & Wieuca Rd.
