CONSTRUCTION

Permits

- 3200 Howell Mill Rd NW — Tenant improvement permit filed for Corso Atlanta Phase II, covering dining and retail space. The second phase of this development is taking shape.
- 3560 Lenox Rd NE — New tenant build-out filed for Alston Construction Co. on the 14th floor of an existing office tower, fitting out 2,620 square feet of previously vacant space.
- 3424 Peachtree Rd — Interior construction on the 6th and 7th floors is moving again after an expired permit was resubmitted. Work had stalled but it's back in motion.
- 3065 Peachtree Rd NE — Fire sprinkler heads are being relocated to match a new wall and ceiling layout, which typically signals a broader interior renovation is underway.
- 3715 Northside Pkwy NW — Two permits filed here in the same week: one to bring the sprinkler system up to NFPA 13 code, another to add dozens of outlets, floor boxes, and appliance power connections. Something significant is changing inside this building.
- 2744 Peachtree Rd NW — Commercial plumbing permit issued to demo existing fixtures and install new ones, reusing the existing rough-in.
- 3393 Peachtree Rd NE — Electrical remodel permit issued.

On the residential side, 36 arborist permits were filed this week, the most of any category. That's a lot of dead, dying, or hazardous trees getting flagged across the area. If you've got a tree you've been watching, now's a good time to get eyes on it.

Road Work

Under Construction
- I-75 Lighting Upgrade (Fulton County) Crews are replacing the existing high-pressure sodium lighting along I-75 from Musket Ridge Drive to I-85 with LED fixtures. Poles and conduit may also get replaced as part of the work.
- SR 400 Tunnel Rehabilitation at the Justin C. Martin Building (Fulton County) Work is underway on the tunnel beneath SR 400, covering spall repair on transfer beams and roof slabs, fire system repairs, and other structural upgrades.
- SR 9 Resurfacing (Fulton County) The state is resurfacing SR 9 from SR 3 north to Paces Ferry Road to bring the roadway's pavement condition score back up.

Atlanta Watershed
- Lane Closure on Northside Drive NW for Storm Drainage Repairs and Paving — If you travel Northside Drive NW near 3111–3131 Northside Drive, expect lane restrictions while crews handle storm drainage repairs and paving. Plan extra time or an alternate route until the work wraps up.

Service Requests

Buckhead generated 40 service requests this week, with potholes leading the pack. Here's what's been reported.

- Potholes — 18 reports across the area, with clusters on Ridgeland Way NE (3 reports) and W. Paces Ferry Road NW (2 reports), plus individual reports at Habersham Road and Knollwood Drive, Moores Mill Road NW, Sidney Marcus Boulevard and Piedmont Road, and 10 other locations.
- Right-of-Way Overgrowth — Visibility and overgrowth issues reported on W. Wesley Road NW (2 reports), Peachtree Hills Avenue at Peachtree Road (2 reports), Woodward Way NW, Moores Mill Road NW, and Pharr Road NW.
- Traffic Signal Repairs — Ten signals reported in total. Non-emergency repairs are needed at Peachtree Road and W. Wesley Road, E. Wesley Road and Acorn Avenue, Old Ivy Road and Wieuca Road, Kingsboro Road and Lenox Road, and Peachtree Road and Brighton Road. Emergency-level repairs were filed for signals at Delmont Drive and Peachtree Road, Wesley Road and Howell Mill Road, Dover Road and Howell Mill Road, Peachtree Road and Collier Road, and Northside Drive and W. Wesley Drive.
- Sign Repair or Replacement — Three reports filed at Burke Road NE, Swims Valley Drive NW, and the Wesley Road and Howell Mill Road intersection.
- Downed Trees — Two trees reported down on Roswell Road NE.
