Atlanta City Council

Overgrowth and visibility issues are popping up across the area. Six reports flag vegetation blocking rights of way on Arizona Ave NE, at the Freedom Pkwy and Ponce de Leon Ave intersection, and at Seminole Ave and Cleburne Ave.

Five pothole reports came in this week at Palifox Dr and DeKalb Ave, Howard Street and Memorial Dr, Edgewood Ave and Boulevard, and on Boulevard itself. One of those was referred to the state DOT, so don't hold your breath on a quick fix there.

Four downed tree reports landed on Linwood Ave NE, at DeKalb Ave and Oakdale Rd, and on Candler Park Dr NE.

Two traffic signals need attention: one at John Lewis Freedom Pkwy and Moreland Ave NE, and another at DeKalb Ave and Boulevard. A third signal at Boulevard and Auburn Ave was flagged as an emergency repair and is now closed out.

Sign repairs or replacements are in progress on Angier Ave NE and Merritts Ave NE. A litter removal request on Boulevard NE is also in the works. And one "General" request sits open on McGill Pl NE with no further detail in the system.
